In a whirlwind four-day trip, which includes tourist purposes, the president of the International Rugby Board (IRB), Frenchman Bernard Lapasset, will arrive on Tuesday to Argentina and may test spot temperature of the conflict that keeps the leadership of this country and that led to non-adoption of new statutes.

The arrival of Lapasset, who has old friends in Argentina, maintains the largest stockpiles, but this blog was able to confirm according to several consultations. The flamboyant owner of the body that governs the rugby world will build their stay in these lands, to visit the province of Salta.

But beyond the tourist purposes, the arrival of Lapasset becomes vitally important because it alerted the authorities of the Argentina Rugby Union (UAR) which aims to have a meeting with leaders from across the country.

So these days has shown some urgency that the leaders of Buenos Aires and the Interior close their differences before sitting down to talk with Lapasset, who last week received the Strategic Plan approved by the Council of the UAR and who knows too the conflict that ended in the extraordinary assembly last Monday April 28 without the approval of the statutes.

What happened in these ten days? Shortly and nothing. It tried unsuccessfully a couple of meetings. According transpired, one would have been pautada for yesterday and another tomorrow, but both were shipwrecked.

According to the newspaper published on Sunday Olé, Buenos Aires would have proposed lowering the percentage of votes of 47 to 43 percent, which would not alter the scene almost nothing.

It is estimated that before meeting with Lapasset, the leaders will meet competing to see if they make progress in the three articles that have slowed the adoption of the other 50 and which are included in the points that matter most to you and that IRB deal with all matters relating to occupational structures.

On both sides know that the lengthy nature of the conflict benefits no one, and in that sense, we seek alternatives.

What Chill will Lapasset? That is the big question.
